The college provides barrier-free environment where people with disabilities can move about safely and freely and use the facilities within the built environment. The environment supports the independent functioning of individuals so that they can participate without assistance in everyday activities within the campus.

According to the persons with disabilities act 2016, discrimination against disabilities are strictly prohibited. Government Girls; General Degree College intends to provide comprehensive and inclusive Teaching and Learning environment to students and any employees. Aiming to this, the ramp has been built at entry door of the building.

Note: If the disabled candidate (temporarily disabled) requests to write college level examination with her own hand with an extra time (of 30 minutes for 2 hours’ examination), she has to submit an application to the Principal of the college through the HOD of the respective department seeking grant of extra time to write the examination, with concerned medical certificates.
